I must say that was one short trip! Felt like I could have stayed for at least another week. I just finished unpacking and sorting out some gifts and such... completely tired now!

As it was any trip, there were the ups and downs. But all around it was another unforgettable lifetime experience.

I'll update the rest of my adventures when I'm rested up this week. Pics this coming week.

Last Day... Already??

Has 9 days in Hong Kong already passed by? This trip went so fast... I have yet to update you on my daily adventures... But I promise I will! As for now... I need to take advantage of this last day in this amazing city.

Lantau Island - Tai O 2/11/2011

On Tuesday we headed over to Lantau Island to see Tai O, a fishing village, and the Big Buddha in Ngong Ping. We also had a guide for this trip... he spoke awesome ENGRISH. Video later to prove it. Since I have so many damn pictures... I'm splitting this up into 2 posts.

Lamma Island - 30/10/2011

First things first! This island is gorgeous! Compared to the city, it is so laid back. Kinda reminds me of Boulder in a sense but not at all. It has its own essence. There's no rush here, more of a "lets slow the pace and relax".

But there was no time to relax for us! We headed up the hill to see Hong Kong's only Wind Power Generator. Cool fact... When i say "ONLY" I mean "ONE" and this one powers the whole island! How cool is that?

Also... we didn't know what we were in for... It was one hell of a hike that day. From 4:30 until 7:30 straight on! Btw... When it was dark, it was dark!!! no lamps whatsoever besides our phones as flashlights. We practically walked the whole damn island... was it worth it? Check out these pics and you tell me. :)  (I have a whole lot more but will have to go through them!)
